For years, I've used kraft paper to wrap presents. I've sometimes bought rolls from the parcel mailing section, which is nice, thick, and good for all kinds of uses. I finally ran out and bought this set of 2 rolls to replace my stock. This is thin, like wrapping paper, not nearly the thick sturdy type of kraft paper that's used to wrap packages and parcels for mailing. If you're looking for wrapping-paper-like, easy to fold, kraft paper, then this will be fine. If you actually need to cover a package for parcel post, keep looking. It has been hard getting packages during this winter. But they never stopped tryingI bought this for mailing packages. It’s too thin and not recommended for that. Should not be marketed toward mailing.Strong paper, it was nice and thick but also easy to crease! The only problem I ran into was if I didn't have a ribbon or twine wrapping around it, then the wrap job would come undone. The standard scotch tape wasn't strong enough on it's own to hold the folds down. The reason being the paper has a slightly textured / fuzzy surface and the tape would pull off the texture and have nothing to stick to. Wasn't a major problem and using a standard roll of storage box packing tape was more than enough to tape the paper down. I'll definitely but again. It was enough to wrap about 15 gifts of various shapes and sizes.Had wrapped packages of the shipping and this was perfect cost little to nothing and got the job done with paper to spare. This paper is the thinnest wrapping paper I have ever seen. It is almost as thin as tissue paper. In my opinion, it is not at all suitable for wrapping packages. It is what I expected. Arrived quickly and undamaged. Perfect for wrapping presents and for kids to draw/ pain/ color on. The thinness made wrapping very easy. It is too thin to use as a table covers. If you are looking for paper that is thick enough for table covers (and want to buy in bulk), try, Boardwalk K3650612 Kraft Paper 36" x 612 ft, Brown (Misc.).I will be buying these again come Christmas season.Instead of spending a fortune on wrapping paper this Christmas, I opted to do brown paper and let my little ones decorate it with Christmas stamps and markers and stickers, etc. I get the advantage of it being ridiculously cheap AND I look like I do fun things with my kids. :) Win, win. It is a great weight -- not so thick that the corners are hard to get nice and creased, but not so thin that it tears easily. I plan on doing this for every holiday from now on. Cute bows and done.
