They don’t completely trap smells, but they are good quality bags! I love that they are made from 50% recycled plastic. (I wish they were 100% recycled, but 50% still seems to be much more than any other options I’ve seen. Buying products made with recycled plastic gives the otherwise-plastic trash more value and a longer life! (Not to mention, it means less energy and demand for petroleum drilling to make “virgin” plastic.) Many pet waste bags will claim that they are eco-friendly because they are compostable, but most bags are just thrown in the trash, not a commercial compost facility. The bags advertised as compostable usually aren’t compostable in home compost piles like you would think, and they loose their “eco-friendly” quality in the landfill. Very happy that these exist as an alternative. Thank you!
