Product Description

Originally published in Washington, DC in 1907, this two-volume set is a compendium (known as the "Final Rolls") of names of 101,000 Native Americans who qualified, according to the US government, as "citizens" of a tribe according to one of the following categories: citizens by blood or by marriage, new born citizens by blood, minor citizens by blood, Freedmen (former black slaves admitted to tribal citizenship), new born freedmen, and minor freedmen. Most rolls give the name, age, sex, degree of Indian blood, and the number of the census card. The first volume provides the rolls; the second serves as the index to the rolls. Considered one of the most important sources in all of Native American genealogy. Annotation 2003 Book News, Inc., Portland, OR

It is not in alphabetical order. I know my ancestors number but for those who don't it will be a headache to find.
